Client Work

Elizabeth is full-time student at the Cronkite Agency and works with a team to produce strategic communications campaigns for a real client. She works for Cordia Energy, a sustainable energy solutions provider.

Elizabeth and her team developed specific and measurable goals at the start of the semester to improve Cordia's internal and external communication efforts and enhance brand awareness.

Media Relations

Elizabeth and her team developed a media list featuring 98 contacts from across the country to contribute to Cordia’s sustainability messaging outreach. The list includes journalists who cover topics such as sustainability, economics, business development and environmental awareness. Using this list, the team secured a story with ABC15, highlighting Cordia's sustainability efforts within the community.

Website

Elizabeth and her team redrafted Cordia’s website homepage to clarify messaging, reducing redundancy and condensing information when necessary. This helped Cordia develop a more cohesive narrative and target specific audiences that differ from its social media platforms.

Social Media Video Campaigns

Elizabeth and her team introduced two video series campaigns called "The Sustainability Series" and "Cordia Connections" to post on Cordia's Instagram and LinkedIn. These videos align with external communication goals, increase social media engagement and target specific audiences unique to each social platform.

Social Media Infographics

Social media infographics were posted on Cordia's Instagram and LinkedIn in hopes of increasing engagement. During our time with Cordia, we achieved an over 6,000% increase in accounts reached on Instagram. We also increased LinkedIn followers by 25%.

Research Portfolio

In fall 2023, Elizabeth composed a portfolio demonstrating her knowledge of public relations research. Her chosen client was Barnes & Noble.
